Yves Yongoueth
Founder
“Educate. Serve. Give.” These three words are my motto, and they are the reason I founded The Yong Foundation.
I am a computer engineer and project manager with more than 20 years in technology and operations leadership — including over a decade running cloud services operations at Oracle, and senior operations roles at Amalto Technologies and TIE Kinetix. I hold MIT Sloan executive education in cybersecurity, and since 2003 I have led The Yong Technologies, a web, hosting, AI and cybersecurity company. Along the way I have led large, diverse teams, solved complex problems under pressure, and, most rewarding of all, helped people grow into their next role.
Technology opened doors for me, and I believe it can open doors for many others, but only if they have the chance to learn it. That is why I give my time and knowledge to this foundation: to teach practical computer, internet and AI skills free of charge, to support our volunteer teachers, and to help award scholarships to students who need a door opened.
My goals and the foundation's goals are one and the same: to make a real and lasting impact, one learner, one family and one community at a time.
